EXPERIENCE AT WORK
How staff feel in their day-to-day working lives.
This concepts explores the stresses and frustrations of work, how happy and engaged individuals feel in their jobs, as well as how worthwhile they find their jobs..
FUNCTIONING AT WORK
This relates to what staff's actions.
It explores whether staff have a sense of control over their work and whether they can see progress and opportunities for development. It also looks at relationships at work with a focus on good communication. Functioning at work is determined by personal resources as well as organisational systems.
PERSONAL RESOURCES
Personal resources are the components that determine how employees' overall lives are going.
This concept explores work-life balance, how happy and healthy staff are, and the self-confidence and energy that staff bring to work.
ORGANISATIONAL SYSTEMS
Organisational systems is about the specific workplace.
It explores our work environment, how well the organisation is managed, the way jobs are designed and the social value created.
